The history of the ring as an engagement proposal from the 13th century AD is long. As a single stone, a ring where the diamond protrudes from the ring tied between “teeth”, was first introduced in 1886 in America. Since then, this trend has prevailed throughout the world.

The first choice you have to make is between diamond or zircon stone. Zircon is a more economical choice, while diamond has greater durability as it is not carved. Also the most expensive and with the best shine cut is the round brilliant cut. The cut together with the purity (amount of inclusions), the color (degree of shade) and the carats (unit of weight for precious stones = 0.2g) determine the price of the diamond. For example the price for a one carat diamond is much higher than 20 diamonds of total one carat.

Also, diamonds are accompanied by a guarantee from a special gemologist or institute.
You may also choose the metal of the ring between silver (925 °), gold K9 (375 °), gold K14 (585 °) and gold K18 (750 °) and in white, yellow or bicolor. Carats in gold means gold content in the metal alloy of the jewelry. That is, if we divide the alloy into 24 equal parts and 14 of them are pure gold then we say that we have 14 carat gold, which in percentage is about 58.5%.
